Each year in March there is a great Music and Arts festival celebrated in Santiago Atitlán. It is usually held down at the end of the bay, and people come from all around to see the fantastic groups that play every year. It has become one of the most interesting music festivals in Guatemala, as it is generally put on for charity (in 2006 and 2007 the profits were donated to the Hospitalito Atitlán) and the list of Bands that have played here is impressive. So, put on a sun hat, get on the boat, and lets go boogy!! You can see more information on the Festival website: www.festivalatitlan.com
